Dr Kara Ehlers, Wichita KS Dr. Ehlers earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas at Parkland Hospital. Parkland is one of the busiest OB/Gyn Departments in the country and consistently delivers more than 10,000 babies a year. She then completed a highly competitive fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Louisville where she gained extensive experience in assisted reproductive technologies, hormonal disorders, and rare developmental disorders. She has a special interest in PCOS, fertility preservation, recurrent pregnancy loss, single parenting, and LGBTQ+ family-building.

Dr. Ehlers is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She is double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and she regularly attends national conferences and stays up-to-date on the latest research and innovations in fertility care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ehlers enjoys spending time with family, playing cards, and girls’ trips to the Napa Valley region with her sisters and friends, but she is most passionate about empowering patients through education and emotional support throughout every step of their journey.
