Self-described as nerdy and nurturing, Dr. Peregrine’s first question at your appointment is ‘How can I best help YOU today?’ And you will leave with (optional) reading assignments from both the scientific literature and social media. In between, Dr. Peregrine strives to provide care that is inclusive, trauma informed, and evidence based. She embraces shared decision-making: no two patients’ paths are the same. She LOVES being a KU Wichita Clinical Assistant Professor and teaching; she will often have a medical student or resident with her.
Dr. Peregrine’s personal and professional path has taken her from Southern California to Wichita, around the West (Oregon, Utah) and back again FOR GOOD! She has 2 kids through fertility treatment, and loves spending time with her family around Wichita.
Her clinical interests are diverse and include recurrent pregnancy loss, infertility and its spectrum of treatments (surgical, medical, IVF), fertility preservation (egg or embryo freezing), genetics, and premature ovarian insufficiency.
Her research interests include non-IVF treatment of PCOS, management of early pregnancy loss, and (historically) IVF prediction modeling and Zika virus transmission.
Her musical interests are eclectic but (these days) mostly classical (Beethoven) and children’s music, including artists Secret Agent 23 Skidoo (progressive kids’ rap), The Okee Dokee Brothers (21st century Mark Twain vibes), Frances England (gentle wonder), and Casper Babypants (indie music nerds having too much fun).
